MackinVia

MackinVia is the eBook and eAudiobook platform shared by the middle schools and high schools in District 196.  The content can be accessed through the MackinVia app (available in Self-Service on district iPads or as a free app to download on a personal device) or can be accessed on the web at https://district196.mackinvia.com/. 

How to Log In

Students and staff can log in using their 196 credentials.  In the first box, type in the name of our school: Scott Highlands Middle School.  Then it will flash and you will click the blue "Sign In" button.  For students, your username is your student ID number and the password is the same password you use for Collab and Schoology. For staff, your username is your FirstName.LastName and your district password.  Please see Ms. Mildahl if you have trouble logging in.

Multiuser Books

Currently, many of the titles in MackinVia are multiuser, meaning an unlimited number of people can access the resource at the same time and you don't have to wait your turn to borrow the title.  This is great for finding options that everyone can read in a book club or if you want to read a book with your friends or family.  Learn how to search for Multiuser eBooks.
